There are various types of embroidery fabrics: linen, evenweave, and dyed embroidery fabrics. Pre-printed embroidery patterns, fabrics, and patterns where you have to count yourself. Plenty of choice for every embroidery enthusiast.

For my most recent projects, I embroidered on Zweigart evenweave fabric. I also used patterns I had left over from old magazines. Waste nog, want not, right? 😉

And the last four projects have become quite diverse.

First, I embroidered a Pierrot head. Always a beautiful subject where laughter and tears are so close together. I think everyone is drawn to the sad clown.

I've also been working on a kind of sampler. All squares with their own pattern. It was quite a job. I was happy when the last stitch was done 😆:

And these gnomes with sunflowers were something completely different. Also very fun to do!

And finally, I wanted to show you my piece of Eastern European folklore work.

Something completely different and yes, also very nice!

What are your favorite embroideries and materials? Let me know in the comments!

Greetings,

Daniëlla

    Bedankt Wim!

Moet nog veel gebeuren hier, maar dat gaat wel lukken in de wintermaanden met rustige avonden. 😉

wordt tijd dat ik nog eens een bezoekje aan het forum breng. (te) lang geleden! 😊
